About me

My work focuses on the physics and mechanics of living and non-living soft systems such as (bio)-gels, granular materials and suspensions.
Following a multi-scale approach, the goal of my research is to understand their dynamics at rest and their mechanical properties over length scales ranging from nanometers to micron.
To this end, I develop novel computational algorithms and analytical approches (Molecular dynamics simulation, discrete and continuum mechanics, out-of-equilibrium statistical physics,…). A particularity of my research is to be systematically at the interface between experiments and theory. I collaborate with Mechanical engineers/Physicists (MIT, Montpellier Univ.), Biophysicists (ESPCI Paris, Institut Curie) and Medical Doctors (Harvard Medical School).
